This is a perfect way to get kids started on the drums. Students can learn on their own or with a family member. Time taken to complete the course varies with each student but it should see your child through the remainder of the academic year.
 
It is beneficial to have a drum kit but not essential. As long as you have a pair of sticks and a rubber pad that will be enough to get you started.
